Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 October 2026

In short. You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to process your public videos only to power your assistant. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. AI answers can contain mistakes. You can cancel at any time.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Content Echo ("Content Echo", "we", "us"), including usecontentecho.com and the assistants we provide on websites and Telegram (the "Service"). By creating an account, joining the beta or buying a plan, you accept these Terms. If you use the Service for a business or channel, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it and that you are at least 18.

2. The Service

Content Echo indexes the public transcripts and metadata of your YouTube videos and runs an AI assistant that answers your audience's questions using that content. Answers are grounded strictly in your video transcripts, but they are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. The assistant does not give professional (for example legal, medical or financial) advice. You are responsible for how you present the assistant to your audience.

3. Private Beta

4. Plans, prices and payment

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

6. Your content and licence

You keep all rights to your videos and content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to download, transcribe, index, store and process your public content and the settings you provide only to provide the Service to you, for as long as you use it. You confirm you have the rights needed to grant this licence.

7. Your audience's data

For the data of the people who use your assistant (for example allowed-user emails and questions), you are the controller and we are your processor, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to give us that data and for informing your audience, for example by linking to your own privacy notice.

8. Acceptable use

We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules, normally after notice unless the risk requires immediate action.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or improve features; we will tell you in advance about changes that materially reduce your paid plan.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in that period. If you are a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may end the Service for you with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious breach of these Terms. After termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights where you live. Questions: Content Echo, Unit 119689, PO Box 6945, London, W1A 6US, United Kingdom · hello@usecontentecho.com.
